Pottery and Glassblowing

“God formed man dust from the earth and blew into his nostrils a breath of life.” In forming man God was first a potter then a glassblower.

Pottery and glassblowing are two ancient arts inspired by man remembering how he was first formed. Both require the heat of a furnace.

A furnace is quite hot. That’s what it takes for formation. But for creation, ex-nihilo, it takes infinitely greater heat.
